NYE

As for my New Year's Eve, I ended up wearing this beautiful sequin dress from River Island. I showed you this dress in my 10 Dresses For New Year's (click) post. I got this for christmas, and in my opinion it's the perfect dress for New Years. Usually I'd go with a LBD (little black dress), but I really wanted to switch it up this year. I spent my New Years Eve with some of my favourite people, and I started off 2014 with a splash. I hope you all enjoyed your evening. I know this post is a little late, but better late than never, right?
Also, I'd like to apologize for the bad quality pictures. I'll try to take better pictures from now on!

BEST SKIN CARE PRODUCTS

Skin care is a really important part of your 'make-up routine'. If there is one thing I could tell my younger self before I started using make up, it would be to take better care of my skin. Over the past few months I've started taking much better care of my skin, and I've started using these amazing products.

This is a clarifying lotion from Clinique which I got in a box set with 3 other Clinique products. It's a very strong water which you put on a cotton pad and sweep across your skin. Takes no time to clean your face with this one. I don't use this one everyday, because it is very strong. I like to use this when I have major breakouts on my skin.

This is the one I use everyday, morning and evening. I heard about this product from Ingrid AKA Missglamorazzi on YouTube. She had been talking about this product forever, and I really wanted to try it out, but couldn't find it anywhere. I finally found it in a small pharmacy type store where I live. This is as amazing as Ingrid made it out to be, and it was worth the 15 Euros I spent on it.

I got this Mineral Peeling Gel from Soap & CO when I visited London in August. This gel was originally 65 Pounds, which I consider way too expensive, and would have never bought, unless the salesman offered us 50% off on it because I was a student. You use this in the morning and simple use our fingers to apply it to your skin, without any water. Then you let it sit for 1-2 minutes and then rub it off again using your fingers, and it removes any dead skin and dirt that may sit on your face. I use this every morning, but I must admit some mornings I stay in bed for a little too long, and I just turn to my Bioderma.

There you have it; my favourite skin care products. So, if you are just starting to use make-up, or even don't use make-up PLEASE remember to take good care of your skin, because you will be so happy you did when you get older!

BABY LIPS

Recently I purchased my first ever Baby Lips at the mall where I live. When I saw that they had them there, I just about had a heart attack, because I thought they didn't sell them here. So I simply couldn't leave without getting the two last ones that were left. When I came back about a week later they had two new ones there, and I had to purchase them as well because I had gotten so addicted to the two I already had. I used to be a huge EOS lip balm lover, and still am, but they are so expensive and you can't get them here, so my only chance to buy them is when I go to Denmark, where they cost 75 Kroner which is around 10 Euros. I got one Baby Lips lip balm for 3.95 Euros, which is a huge difference to paying 10 Euros for one lip balm. These are the four that I have:

Pink lip balm tinted with pink, so it leaves a bit of color on your lips in Pink Punch.

This is a normal lip balm with no color in it in Mint Fresh.

This is another normal one without color in it in Intense Care.

This one is my favorite, it smells amazing and makes your lips so soft and leaves a hint of dark red on your lips in Berry Me.

So, to sum this up, my point in making this post was to tell you that I LOVE Baby Lips, and it works wonders. If you can get Baby Lips anywhere close to you, I would advise you to try them out!

EVERYDAY MAKE-UP

Hi!
I decided to try my first beauty post. I don't know how well this will turn out, but it's worth a try!
Here is my everyday make-up routine:

First off I wash my face with Bioderma H2O water, to get my face clean before applying any make-up.
Then I apply my Maybelline New York BB cream instead of a foundation. Once applied I cover any dark circles and spots with my Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer.

I finish up with my skin by adding my Bellápierre Cosmetics powder to avoid shiny skin.

On the days I feel like being a little bit more fancy I will apply eyeshadow from the Naked Palette by Urban Decay. This palette is the definition of perfect. They eyeshadows are beautiful and easy to apply.

I'm a bit of a mascara junkie, and I will never apply only one mascara. These are the three that I use at the moment, and they are all from Maybelline New York (I quite like that brand if you haven't noticed). I apply the OneByOne first, followed by Le Colossal and finish it with The Falsies.

Last but not least I fill in my eyebrows with this eyebrow kit from Sephora.

So there is is! My everyday make-up routine. It's simple and nothing over the top, but it's what I need to feel comfortable. On the mornings I am too lazy I will simply do my skin and eyebrows and leave out eyeshadow and mascara.

Hope you enjoyed this post, leave any advice in the comments below!
